Dr. Meredith Peyser is originally from coastal CT but discovered her love for Maine when studying Marine Biology at University of New England. After spending a few years volunteering with marine mammal rehabilitation and working as a veterinary technician, she moved out to the mid-west and attended veterinary school at Michigan State University. Dr. Peyser graduated in 2014 and started her medical career at a small animal/ exotics clinic outside of Boston. She also helped with a feline rescue group until she was given the opportunity to move back to Maine in 2017.
Dr. Peyser’s professional interests include exotic animal medicine, feline medicine and surgery. When not at work, Dr. Peyser is usually with her husband and their 5-year-old twin boys. She enjoys boating, camping, hiking, and traveling.
